newspaper Evaluation

While making our newspaper I learnt quite a lot on how an actual newspaper is made. I learnt how to make proper newspaper headlines and put some kind of colour over the name of the newspaper. I learnt how to make a newspaper in Adobe indesign CS3 and also learnt how to separate different pieces of news to make it look like a real newspaper. I find out how to make newspaper text and how much of as well. It was a very enjoyable task to do because of how enlightening it was learning about it. Overall I was pleased with how the whole thing went and if I had to do it again I would probably find better use for the adverts.

While making our video I learnt quite a few things that will help me in the future about making a video and then editing it on the computer. When making our video I learnt how make certain camera angles and camera shots using the help of a tripod. When we uploaded our video to the computer we learnt quite a lot on how to edit and make certain transitions fit into the sequence of the filming. We learnt how to cut out parts of a scene and extend some footage as well as putting the perfect transitions on the start or end of a scene such as fade, dissolve or curtain etc. We also made opening and ending credits to help make the video feel like a real short film. We learnt how to put music on our as well and made it fit into the genre of the film.
